No, they accept most credit and debit cards!
Hello, our Chinese name is 颐香居
Did u tell anyone working there at the time this happened? Maybe you should say something then and there when this happened instead of posting it here
Went to imperial for dim sum today, despite their private event, the waiters were still around to make sure we have tea and everything. Cart ladies are very attentive to make sure we don't miss anything. Food was delicious!!! Will definitely go back! Can't wait to try their dinner menu!!! Keep up the quality!
This place is great for Sunday dim sum. We came later in the afternoon around 1:30 and they were still open and still had some selection. Very tasty and affordable. Highly recommend a visit and trying all of the dishes. The best part about dim sum is that the dishes are small enough that you can order a bunch to try but large enough for sharing
Decent service, great Chinese dishes. Amazing Hongkong style brunch choices as well, though it could get really crowded. Much easier during dinner time and late night.
We came here for dim sum on a Wednesday. Terrible experience. The dim sum carts came very infrequently, we often went 10 to 15 minutes without any carts passing by. The dim sum options, even for omnivores, are very limited. I am a vegan, and they have almost no vegan options and even got orders wrong twice - they gave me egg custard buns and fried balls when I asked for red bean buns and fried balls. However, the red bean balls were very good, hence the two stars.Go to Kim Fung for better dim sum.
Delicious food with good service
Good dim sum place right in the heart of Chinatown. It's cart style so you might have to wait a while to find the food you want , but overall the quality for price was worth it. It gets busy at around 11am on the weekends so be sure to get there earlier if you don't want to wait
Undeniably the best spot for dim sum. Every dishes are prepared fresh, the service is always friendly. Make sure to arrive before 11:30 for guaranteed seats.
Food was average level in the town. Their service was good if you’re speaking Cantonese or a repeating customer( this is what I observed) . Very cold atmosphere and you won’t feel be welcomed. When we checked out at cash, the lady even did not speak a single word, just passing the machine to us after she put into the amount . NOT A SINGLE WORD! No communication at all. Not a enjoyable dim sum at all.
We waited forever for carts to arrive by our table. Whenever they arrived, it was always the same thing that we already ordered. Service here at Sunday lunch was incredibly slow. We left pretty hungry.
A nice new alternative to Ruby Rouge on Clark for Dim Sum. I just discovered this restaurant over the holidays and will definitely come back with friends and colleagues.Nice environment with lots of light since the is an unobstructed view for the moment. The food tastes good and the service is also nice.I have not tried lunch or dinner but planning to do so in the near future.
Delicious. It's cool because the waitresses walk by with the cart and the food, already prepared dishes, so you can see and pick out what you want to eat. Also, a different experience from the Chinese culture and their food. Very good!
Went for dim sum. The place was very clean and the food was pretty good! Great service as well. I like the fact that the seating are not too packed together so the tables are far from each other! I really enjoyed it!
Confusing since we didn't know where the elevators were, but the restaurant was nice. Generous portions for a dim sum place, about what you would expect. I didn't care for the shu Mai, although everything else was good!
Update: after going there many, times, I feel that the quality of service is decreasing.------(so far) the best dim sum place in Montreal. I've been there several times with my friends. Love most dim sums there (especially sweet desserts, sumai, radish cake, shrimps dumplings, and other things I don't know the name). Perfect place for friends and family as they serve free amd nice tee. What's more, it's very cheap - usually around $15 per person.
Went here on a Friday night for dinner around 7pm. We were greeted and served with so much kindness. I was pleasantly surprised at the level of service considering the few reviews I've read about how slow it is. The waitress was patient and helpful with suggestions and checked to see if everything was ok and to our taste when our food was served. The other staff members who served our food were also very friendly. The dishes were quite good too. The lobster was meaty and flavorful, the tofu dish was tasty and so was the seafood soup. We ate so well! The waitress then offered us the red bean dessert. We were the last table there and the restaurant was nearly closing. They did not rush us. We felt bad for having to interrupt their end of shift meal to pay for our bill, but they promptly served us with a smile. Will definitely return!
Relatively new, very nice ambiance, and good dim sum! I love the steamed white radish dim sum here, it's really good. Also, the sesame balls filled with egg cream custard.
Very authentic restaurant with great seating! Great for large gatherings. The food was delicious and the staff is super friendly. I would come here again if in the area!
Friendly service and staff for the most part. Decent amount of vegetarian options although sometimes not all the carts circulate so if you're in sme of the farther ends of the restaurant it might be necessary to flag down for orders. Really delicious buns and custard desserts. Definitely a ton of options. We were there for a couple hours for a birthday brunch and still didn't get a taste of it all! We came for 10am when it was not too busy but whew left around 1230pm there was a crazy long lineup. Come early!
Good service, clean, excellent food, nice ambiance, and reasonable prices. Can't wait until the dim sum weekends are back to normal, because crowds mean a wider selection of items.
Best Cantonese cuisine dinner I have ever had in Canada. Generous portion and worth the money.
Tasty dim sum in an elegant setting.
My favorite dim sum in Montreal! Delicious, lots of options, and pleasant service (although not much English/French). I love going with a group so we can try more things. You might not know exactly what you're selecting, but it's likely to be super yummy!
Fully accessible place! This is my highlight in Chinatown. I made the 'mistake' to ask a la carte instead of Dim sum....but next time will try it! Good ratio price versus quality, lot of room , not noisy. Service very efficient and quick . No dessert. Would definitely recommend!
Amazing dimsum ☺️ service was helpful and fast, we were party of 6 and everyone really enjoyed the food, even went to the stage for some karaoke session LOL
Among what I ordered, I Iike the duck feet, the shrimp rice crepes is fine, the radish rice cake is fine, the sponge cake is not good. I will come back to try more options
The seafood set is so awesome. Our Chinese family is here all the time for birthdays and party...
Quite an experience every time. Good food, amazing team and great service. One time we took a 12 service with only amazing meals. Never misses anything, waiter is always around and they make sure you are eating well and good.
Food's good. Service is okay, sometimes they don't bring your food out.
Tasty dishes, nicely decorated, missing variety in Dim Sum
Try the chicken sticky rice inside the lotus leaf it’s really good!I always go to place like this with my roommates who speaks mandarin, because they do know the good stuff! This is, so far, the best brunch ever! The congee is really good. The steamed buns are amazing. The other stuff that I don’t know the names are just marvellous!
Super impressed by the quality of the dishes. The shrimp is fresh, and fried stuff is mighty crispy. Only missing vegetables and greens. The service is wonderful! All the ladies are nice.
For far the best dim sum I’ve tried in Montreal! If u go, u must get their salty egg yolk steamed bun! And egg tart, red bean puff pastry!
The restaurant is located on the sixth floor of the plaza, you need to take the elevator to go up. The restaurant is spacious and clean. The service was excellent. I found the food a little bland but you can add codiments like sauce. There is no free WiFi and you can park in the basement for a fee. Note that the parking is very tight, you are better off parking elsewhere unless you drive a tiny car.
Great food and a superb service! I strongly recommend the soups. It's a very clean place.
The food was decent, but there was a lot of confusion while ordering. Couldn't understand what the waiters were saying and there was no menu or description. Overall, the experience was interesting, but we wouldn't go back there again.
I come here for dimsum with my family often and the food is always fresh and tasty! The staff is typical Chinese folks with a nonchalant vibe, they are nice people and quick to their feet. The restaurant is big so you get to see the carts coming in. Good dimsum, I recommend!
Decent size and taste for the Dim Sum but they are a bit pricy compared to the other options in China Town. The AC is not very strong so we were sweating while eating since it is like 30'C outside today. The service is friendly and pretty welcoming and they do have more than only Dim Sum.
Great service! (Though some staff did not speak English or French) Food was fresh and tasty and the variety was wonderful! Definitely returning to this very reasonably priced hot spot 😊👍
Came here for dim sum on Sunday. I was really impressed. The food was great and service too, a lot better than other dim sum spots in Chinatown. The prices for most items are between $4.50-$5.00. Go early to beat the crowds, like before 11am. Quick tip: to pay, you have to bring your bill to the front desk/cash.
They wear Christmas hats and red and white cowboy hats on Christmas. What a festive place!
Meh. I rarely give places low ratings but this one deserves a 2 star... we went in during lunch hours and they were kind of busy but not fully packed. The girl in the front desk didn’t greet us and unhappily placed us in our table. Food was either cold greasy or can’t compare to other dim sum places that I’ve bad. The ladies pushing dim sum carts around were very nice though.
The dim sum here was good, the cheung fun (rice noodle rolls) were my favorite. We got it in beef, shrimp and with the chinese donut and they were all amazing. The staff was very friendly.
The wait is long, which is to be expected for lunch time on a Saturday! The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a good dimsum spot in Montreal!
Nice traditional dim sum place with rolling carts and all the nice stuff. Service was quick and the food was great! Hidden gem on the 6th floor of Swatow plaza. Can get very full during brunch hours even on weekdays.
Came here for the first time with friends, I find the dim sum experience very interesting for sharing a meal, trying different tastes and textures. There's a good variety of dishes that are quite savory. The service is fast, efficient, and the staff are service oriented and took great care of us. Even when one of my friends had a mishap and had a spill, the staff came right away and cleaned things up, while being very polite. And last but not least, the prices are quite good.
Best dim sum around! Great service, and even better food. Couldn't be more authentic.
The dim sum is delicious!! The restaurant is huge and very clean. The décoration and ambiance is very neat. The food is also good. Nothing to add it is a good place to go for dim sum in Chinatown!
I don't have much to say about this place but quite the experience :) this is a dim sum resto with a plethora of food options for you to choose from. Don't fret about the small sized portions you can become full quite easily! There's always a lot of people so prepare yourself to wait if you want to try something completely new.
